Here's what I learned from adding extra Reiki dates in March:

So many of you are on a spiritual path this year! What I would love to see from all of you (and welcome to the newsletter btw) is remarkable self-care. The common thread between most of us is that:

A) Everyone is a healer on some level; you've chosen the path of the healer. This shows up as caregiving and choosing healing careers with humans and animals.

*Yes, YOU reading this—YOU ARE a healer!

B) Those of us on this path are typically drawn to fix others before we tend to our self-care.

The way to make your life better while making the world a better place is to embark on a path of radical self-care. It will fuel your spiritual path. I know this because I learned it the hard way 10 years ago (another long story of getting sober). My Reiki path helped break this wide open, for me. Your mileage may vary.

I made a quick TikTok about this:

In the video, I referenced an email Dale sent out first thing this year.

Here it is again:

🕊️
The year 2023 breaks down numerically to the number 7. It is a year of reflection and may even appear to be a boring year. However, it is also an excellent time to renew our emphasis on our Spirituality. The number seven has always denoted the spiritual essence of life; the 7 chakras, the seven candles of the Jewish Mystic, the blessed 7th son, and the seven days of the week ending with Sunday, a day of reverence and relaxation. With this in mind, it would be a good year to reestablish your own personal spiritual path, giving it predominance in your life rather than a back seat. This backseat attitude is the same that caused Jesus to lament, "The harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few." Here are a few suggestions to start the New Year out by reaffirming the divinity within yourself:
🕊️
1. Take regular time to meditate and pray. First thing in the morning and the last thing at night reconnect you to the Divine and all our brothers and sisters on the planet.
🕊️
2. Join a study group to learn more about your own Divinity and how to connect. Here at the store, we have A Course in Miracles on Sunday, drumming on Tuesday evening, The Wichita Theosophical Society meetings on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, and an area A search for God Study group that meets on Tuesday evenings, just to name a few. Call the store for times and locations.
🕊️
3. We have monthly Full Moon Meditations at White Dove led by Dale for all those wishing to have a place to come and add their loving energy to the world. Love donations are accepted and the meditation will last about 30 to 45 minutes. All are welcome.
