Practice Yoga Nidra

It really feels like leaving the planet for a while. That state of being between wake and sleep is so inviting.

Practice Yoga Nidra

NEW today: A fresh bi-weekly yoga nidra practice!

Welcome to yoga nidra practice with me! I'm very excited to offer this FREE practice.

This will come out as a podcast every two weeks, and you can subscribe on Apple or Spotify, or simply play it on the Destiny Architecture podcast site.

If yoga nidra is new to you, I wrote at length about it last week and also get into it at the start of this week's practice.

If you've never tried yoga nidra before, you're in for a treat!

How to Practice Yoga Nidra

Grab yourself a comfy space where you won't be distracted. Find a comfortable position where you can rest in stillness for 30 minutes.

You can be on a yoga mat, in a chair, on your couch, or in a bed.

Cover yourself with a blanket and settle in without expectations or judgment. This is your time. Time for you. Time for self-care. Time for rest.

I recommend practicing with ear buds or headphones.

The more you can surrender, the better.

I LOVE Yoga Nidra

Nothing is more relaxing, IMHO. But not every practice is perfect. I have days I struggle to sit still and let go. It's very much like meditation practice for me in that respect.

What makes yoga nidra different for me is the state of relaxation I get to be in when I practice. It really feels like leaving the planet for a while. That state of being between wake and sleep is so inviting.

This can be an excellent practice for you if you're dealing with stress, anxiety, or PTSD. Because we set an intention in practice, it also helps on a deeper, subconscious level if there's something you want in life, you can set an intention about it.

So please try it and let me know what you think!

If you want a longer practice, please subscribe and become a paying member. The 30-minute bi-weekly practices will be FREE.
