You’ll work on relaxing, letting go, and not fighting sleep. You’ll also practice openness that will help attune you to finding answers within you regarding your own sleep samskara. What’s a samskara? In yoga, a samskara is a pattern of subconscious behavior. It translates from Sanskrit to “mental impression,” or “habit pattern.” What samskara do you have that stands between yourself and sleep? In this practice, you learn to ask for the answer while relaxing into the rest you need.
