Get started with meditation in the easiest, fastest way possible
I created guided meditations to help you get started with meditation the easy way.
You don’t need to go to a class or read a book first to learn. Just hit play on the guided meditations I make for you and you’re on your way to learning meditation one bite at a time.
Each guided audio meditation focuses on relaxing you and getting you practicing meditation first—with a little theory and instruction dripped in.
This way, you receive the benefits of meditation as you learn.
The benefits of meditation:
- Calm the mind
- Increase focus
- Increase self-awareness
- Decrease negative emotions while increasing positive emotions
- Practice mindfulness
- Meditation can lower blood pressure and heart rate
- Meditation can lead to better sleep
- Meditation can lower your stress
In short, no physician will ever tell you NOT to meditate. However, meditation does come with some contraindications.
If you are severely persistently mentally ill, meditation may not be for you. If you are still processing and healing trauma, mindfulness can be superior to meditation. Or you can modify your meditation practice by keeping your eyes closed, adding music, or whatever helps you become comfortable that is specific to your unique situation.
