Progress is PROGRESS–No Matter How Small

It’s amazing to me how much people never begin.

How they get stuck in inertia out of silly fears.

  • Why bother? It will take too long…
  • If I can’t improve by X% in Y amount of time, it’s just not worth it
  • How can I get there quicker?
  • What if I’m doing it wrong?
  • What if I look stupid
  • What will people say?

All of the above are unhelpful ideas and unfounded beliefs.

If you want to make progress, you just have to keep moving.

Keep trying.

In the past year, I’ve learned to value the journey and the process of change more than getting “some fast result.” I’ve learned to become more patient. If it doesn’t take time and effort, is it even real? Is it worth it? If it’s obtained fast and easy, it’s probably just crap anyway.

Who wants to live a “fast food” life?
