Reiki 1 Class Begins in Phoenix on April 7

I'm excited to bring this traditional Japanese hands-on energy healing technique to new students in Phoenix who feel called to it.

Why learn Reiki?

Reiki helps you work with your own energy field and energy centers, aka your "energy body" so that you can understand it better.

While traditional Reiki doesn't dive deep into the chakra system, I tend to do this as I love working with chakras! (I'm also a yoga teacher).

Why understand your energy body better?

This is yet another way to cultivate better self-awareness to help you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

In yoga, we refer to this cultivation of self-awareness as Svadhyaya, or self-study.

I find that a better understanding of the energy body leads to an ability to decode physical complaints and the spiritual reasons behind them. If you're on a healing journey, Reiki can help!

Who is Reiki 1 For?

You've gotten into things like yoga, tarot, and astrology. Maybe you've even experienced a reading or aura photograph... But you know there's something more you'd like to experience and even gain some energetic skills.

I'm a double Reiki Master, well-versed in Eastern and Western Reiki. I am a traditionalist and teach in-person in the traditional way by handing down Reiki from teacher to student through attunements. I'm here to give you the skills you need to work with your own energy for self-care. Reiki is calming, meditative, and promotes healing.

Reiki is excellent as a tool for personal development and mind-body wellness.

After Reiki 1, you will have a basic understanding of Reiki so that you can practice it on yourself. You can also practice on pets and those closest to you if they're willing!

Reiki will give you a new and soothing way to practice daily self-care. It will also give you a set of 5 precepts that will offer purpose and meaning in your life.

Reiki 1 Class Description

Reiki 1 is the start of your Reiki journey and will give you the knowledge and practice you need to practice Reiki on yourself and those close to you. This is an excellent skill to have as a caregiver. Reiki is also great for self-care. You'll learn a self-Reiki practice in class along with meditation techniques. 

This is the most basic level of Reiki. Class will be a combination of academic instruction and hands-on (literally) practice over 4 Sundays. Each class will last two hours. 

You will receive your Reiki 1 attunement during the 4th class.

Join Reiki Master Heather Larson for a 4-week Reiki Class on Sundays in April to learn Usui Reiki 1 (The Western Style of Reiki).

Class meets Sundays April 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
